Hamilton was a positive WAR (BRef, FG) player in the 2024 (2.6, 1.6) and 2025 (1.0, 0.1) seasons.

He's just 28. 

Why would he leave when he gets paid like this?

He projects to have more positive WAR seasons. He should keep going and see if he can make any money after he's arb-eligible after this season.
