I do not see the point of a portal addition of a young kid who hasn't played...in order to add "depth." The likelihood he provides depth this year is probably less than the likelihood of him leaving again next year. 

If you are truly looking to add depth, certainly you can find a guy that has significant experience that maybe isn't as talented.

      I don’t suspect this changes the pursuit for Texas on the OL when it comes the kid from Maryland or Louisville.    It definitely won’t change anything for Jordan Seaton.
