Referee completely in position to make the call. That guy blew it anticipating the contact instead of letting the play happen in that moment. Terrible for Samford.

    Ref was straight-lined - bad angle - it happens. It probably looked like the defender fouled with body from his angle. He held his whistle til after the play; I don’t think this was a case of anticipating a foul. He didn’t have the luxury of watching slo-mo replays from different angles. Not as easy as making the call from your Lazy-Boy
