I keep seeing "Hi" referenced. What does that mean? Sorry for my ignorance. 

Silent commitment (a commitment given to the Texas staff but not announced publicly yet).

So usually a “Hi” is from @Gerry Hamilton. It means somebody silently committed to the university of Texas. But without revealing their name due to the fact that players changed their minds all the time, but that just means behind the scenes, he has been told that a certain player has told Texas he’s going to Texas.

Also done to protect the kids’ “moment” in announcing their own commitment.

@Gerry Hamilton says Hi to the board so he has someone to talk to when @Joe Zura doesn’t text him back 

Additionally, if you see Gerry post the photo of Moe from the three stooges making the 😮 face with a Longhorn hat on, that has the same meaning as “Hi,”
