I had mentioned new Texas DC Will Muschamp would attend one day of practice around the Citrus Bowl.

That day of observation will be tomorrow.

He’s not going to be on the sidelines for the game taking away from the game or current Texas staff. 

Would him on the sidelines really take away from the staff or the game?

I wouldn’t be opposed to having him in Nansen’s ear whether he’s visible or not.

Absolutely not. Muschamp doesn’t know the defense or the players abilities.

I guess. But I don’t see this as a bad thing.

 Seems like we should find a way to utilize Coach Boom. Maybe up in the booth.

That’s probably a big reason why he won’t be at the game lol 

He should just sit quietly in the locker room and bust dry erase boards at halftime.

On Muschamp….Still can’t believe this happened….Very fired up about the upgrade going into 2026.   Outstanding defensive mind and the fire we need to set tone for killer defense.

Why would Gideon leave GT?  He is DC and already played 3 years under Muschamp as a player. He left Texas to runs his defense.
