Was told for a second time in less than a day that Jadan Baugh has not told Florida anything concrete on his plans following the meeting with Gators HC Jon Sumrall, OC and multiple family members of Sumrall. There were other UF coaches there too. 
 

Florida side feels like the meeting went well, but doesn’t know his decision - if he has one. 

OTF was also told Baugh does now have an advisor or agent working with him and his family. 
 

So now we wait to see if Baugh will play one more season at Florida before declaring for the 2027 NFL Draft, or enter the portal. 

 

Sounds like he’s playing hard Baugh.

That could also be on a WR 

UF doesn’t want to lose Wilson or Brown. Those meetings on some level have happened too

Matching anything on a RB while needing to portal for a QB (which will be pricey) seems risky. Also seems risky for Baugh to commit to a team without a QB1

What does Texas do if they don’t land Baugh? The RBs in the portal are not “all in” level players. 
 

Hope we money whip Lacy or Hardy. Texas needs a top 5 back in the country next year

I suspect Texas will have alerted every agent in the US that they will be in the market for an elite RB and several OL and will be willing to pay top dollar. They will know.

No reason for an agent if he plans on returning to UF.

To sum up, Baugh has hired an agent recently and has not told Florida that he is staying.  Either Baugh is hitting the Portal or at least threatening to so that Florida will pay above market.  Good news then.

If he gets in the portal good and if he doesn't whatever, there's gonna be plenty of great RBs jump in.
If he wants to stay for that poop show in Florida then let him stay and beat the gators' ass next year.

Gerry has said that a quick decision would probably mean he's staying... all this changing represantation doesn't make it sound like he's set on staying
