Worthy SNF Intro

Featured Replies

Anyone else on here mildly offended that Xavier does not acknowledge UT when doing his intro on Sunday Night Football?  He was the only player for either the Chiefs or Texans not to name his school in his intro.  It is the second time I have noticed it as he did the same during the Thanksgiving day game with the Cowboys.  He merely introduces himself as from Fresno, CA.  Not sure what the back story is there.....

To each their own. I believe he was on the sideline for a recent game. He still supports Texas.

Travis Kelce right after him literally said Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

It seems like I recall some guys naming their high school in these intros.

Since we're talking about it.....anyone else find it rude that he wore a Chiefs jersey and not a Texas one? I find that very odd.

Were you offended when he ran out on the field in a Chiefs jersey too?

Much ado about nothing

Oh, you're wrong.  It's Monday and I have been having a terrific day.  I have been looking for something to get pissed about.   Finally found it.

I choose to be livid about this development.

I think it has to do with graduating.  I dont think these pros announce their school unless they have graduated.  Many of them delay graduating until after their football careers are over.  I dont believe it is a slight.

This reminds me of when folks were saying to pull X’s scholarship when they saw him on the USC sideline during a bowl game at Jerry World.  Shortly thereafter it was noted that he was there with Quinn and another player (JWhit maybe) and all of a sudden it was fine for those other players but some still held a grudge against X.  If you look hard enough for a narrative you will find it.

He is still a longhorn he was on his phone watching the game in a chiefs press conference before
