Is the buzz around Chris Henry legit or am I getting my hopes up?

I think you're getting your hopes up, someone said Oregon would be the next favourite, but I've no idea. I have a hard time following recruiting these days, because you think you got a guy and someone just drops a bag and they gone lol. 

 

Appears Texas has made an aggressive Justus Terry type move in the recruitment since it opened up. They must think he is good enough to play right away and ahead of portal options.

Doubt he’s a Day 1 starter.  Only a 4+++ star on the Hamilton rankings

It’s a smart move. If they think he can have a similar type of immediate impact to Jeremiah Smith or Cam Coleman, they might get a huge ROI paying him Terry money compared with paying a Coleman type portal player $3M+.

Both

One of the national analysts (I forget which one) actually called him this afternoon and surprisingly he picked up. The only schools he mentioned were Oregon and USC.

Win/Win situation.... Feel like we're likely to get either CHJ or Lott now. Either paired with Jermaine and our other wr signees would be a Good Haul.

He needs a red Ferrari.

Well he just got multiple RPMS to Oregon too so yeah he was right, onto the portal🤘

Our NIL offer was probably used to drive up the price with Oregon and/or OSU.

What's the plan now at receiver?
Go after Lott? Is oregon really gonna get both of them while having Moore?
I imagine we'll go in the portal looking for the usual guy with production at the P4 level that's gonna be in a contract year next year.

That may not be the worst thing in the world… if you can’t get him, at least make others pay more.

Sounds like Lott will see what happens with Henry and the OC situation. Would Oregon really promote samples or drew meh of tom herman lore to the OC job?  Laughable if so. USC throwing more money to the situation as well. Who knows.

Sounds like Lott is clearing up language in his NIL contract, but that may be buying time to see what Henry does. 

Put all of our coins together for Chris Henry in two years aka Cam Coleman.
