Members of the Texas staff spoke with Michigan verbal and 4-star++ OT Malakai Lee (Honolulu, Hi./Kamehameha) for a while again today.

Texas continues to feel like there is a shot at the 6-6.5, 315 pounder with an 85-inch wingspan and 10.5 inch hands.

My two cents. He fills a need at OT when and if Goosby declares which is hopefully after one more season. But for next season we aren’t in dire need of OTs as much as front line starters at LG, C and RG in the portal.

I don't think that one would happen, even if they did. He just doesn't want to be at Texas. 

I'm assuming with Kiffin to LSU, Martinez is out of the picture and locked into LSU? Would you take both him and Lee or whoever you can land first?

They have said the number on OL is 5 so I assume theyd take both with wright out

I really don’t think that is going to happen. We took our shot. It wasn’t good enough. Oregon really didn’t want to lose him.
